A great third book in the series!
What a great story in Sting of the Scorpion by Evelyn Puerto. I am a fan of this author! I love it when a Legacy author sends me more of their work! I read the three books in this series The Outlawed Myth and enjoyed them. This Puerto brings this fantastical story to life. This author had a writing style that fits the fantasies she writes, and she can indeed show stories. Packed with mystic, magic and new worlds and it takes the reader on a superb adventure. It’s one of those embraceable stories. The characters are so engrossing. Eclipses of the moons started the rebellion, and sparks the need for survival, and the force of evil that seems to be coming back to life in this world. It’s one of those embraceable stories. It’s definitely un-put-downable! I like the style of the short chapters, and bring each one together, and share the backstory as well. "Syzyan sighed. “You’ve told us before. How centuries before the Endless War began, Otrechia was wealthy, so wealthy it had ventured beyond the desert to the west, scaled the mountains, and found a rich and fertile land that stretched to the sea.” He shook his head. “Really, Baba, how can we believe there is so much water that it surrounds all the known lands like they are no more than an island?” This story captures the reader's attention at chapter 1. Who could ask for more when it's filled with magical/fantastical creatures and other interesting beings? Probably my favorite of the series so far. Sting of the Scorpion is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
