Suspenseful
Russell pens a very suspenseful thriller in The Jaystone Inscription. It's a great adventure featuring main character Jason, who is a multi-dimensional character. The story is filled with secrets, haunting pasts, interfering governments, and a mystery that is centuries old. I like the pace of the story, and it keeps the reader engaged, and wondering what will happen next, and what are all the secrets that need to be told. The interactions between characters, and building relationships show a depth to the story that it needs. Russell writes very well, and keeps the reader engaged. "The upper hand belonged to the person who kept his prey trapped in an overpowering grip. In the end, victory was all that mattered." And so the story goes on... I look forward to reading more by this author.
