Wonderfully Ghostly
Johal pens a spooky story in The Lighthouse. I have read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. The characters were interesting and very realistic. I love Riley, as she insists she doesn't believe in ghosts, but what and how does she really feel? Insert Dillion, and his ghost-filled life and tracking. I loved the characters and the story. Shadows and echoes of the long departed may be wrapping their arms around Pelican Rock. This author has a great imagination and I'm glad it's being shared with stories. It felt believable to me, as I do believe in ... well, I have an extremely open mind. What an enjoyable journey. This is a magnificent story, kept this reader turning the pages. A definite attention grabber, so much I couldn't put it down. This story is not just for the young, but the young at heart as well. This story was intriguing and kept the reader guessing. The Lighthouse is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
