A grand mysterious mystery!
Heydenburg pens a grand story in The Long Shadow on the Stage. I haven't read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. The characters had a lot of depth, and were very realistic. It's an interesting case for Officer Wilson, trying to solve the mysterious death of an actor, whose final curtain has fell. It's a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. This author's characters develop and interacts well with the other characters. Secrets and intrigue follow the case, and the reader gets immersed right in the story. I have fast become a big fan of Heydenburg. This is the author's debut novel, and this author definitely has storytelling talent. The Long Shadow on the Stage is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
