The River Child by Jo Tuscano

4 Stars

A grand read

Tuscano pens a grandly dramatic story in The River Child. I haven't read work from this author before, and I enjoyed this story. This author brings the story to life. The characters had a lot of depth, and were very intense. I read a lot of stories, and I love the different writing styles and story telling abilities. This author can, indeed, tell stories. A story that is filled with grief and regret, and self blame, but there is a lot more layers to the story that show that there are more secrets buried, possibly with young Elise, a toddler who died suspiciously. Siobhan is a character that can't forget that tragic day, and it still haunts her. What a grand read. It’s one of those embraceable stories. It was an honor to read this author's stories. A very impressively written story. The River Child is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more stories by this author.
