Dark and dystopian, a great blend
Perin pens a great story in The Silence of Kings. It's the first book in the series, and the way the story is told, it makes this reader look forward of more to come. The author has a knack for telling a story, with the plot so intense, mixed with dark fantasy and dystopian worlds. The characters have a lot of depth and lead the storyline, and how they are impacted by their world. The story is written in a good pace for this type of story. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book is definitely recommended by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
