Fun and exciting read

Underwood pens an exciting story in The Sleeping Giant Mountain. I haven't read work from this author before, and I really enjoyed it. It's a grand adventure for Doulton and Charlie, as they go on an adventure to see if the Sleeping Giant Mountain is really a giant, and if there are more to the story. I really enjoyed the story, and laughed out loud at picturing little boys going on "secret" adventures. They even meet a new friend, and bring him along. This book would be perfect to read to a child or have the child read it to you, or just let them curl up with their blanket and best stuffed toy and read it. It's fun to read, and very enjoyable. I look forward to reading more by this author. The Sleeping Giant Mountain is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
