W.T. O'Brien- HooDoo Island

Genre: Historical Adventure

4 Stars

A Grand Read

What a grand adventure story in HooDoo Island by W. T. O'Brien. I've read work by this author before and enjoyed it. This is another adventure story, that is a twist and brings the reader to Alaska, the Prince William Sound, to be exact. Alec takes on a new job, and it brings him to the Gulf of Alaska, and a new adventure. This job is not something he thought he could even do, but it was the decision to take it, that mapped out his new adventure. Almost a turning point in his life, and history. It's an exciting and intriguing read, and Alec is one of those dynamic characters that drive the story. Secrets, history, and even the occurrence of a clean-up of an oil spill, showing there may be more to come. The characters had a lot of depth, and were very realistic. This author is a great storyteller. The story brings the reader on a superb journey. HooDoo Island is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book, to also write a review.
