W.T. O’Brien - The Arboretum After Midnight

5 Stars

Murder after Midnight!!

What a suspenseful story in The Arboretum After Midnight by W.T. O’Brien. I have just become a big fan of this author. The characters had a lot of depth and were very realistic. Whitney is one of those beautiful people that have as many admirers as haters and has no idea what's about to happen to her. Add in a rookie detective, to the investigation. It's remarkable scene, intense and leaves the reader wondering what's going to happen next. It is a very well-written plot, and I enjoyed it. It’s definitely un-put-downable! The thrills and intrigue is written clearly, and the characterizations are engrossing. I just love, love, love this story. This story was very intriguing and unpredictable. The title drew me in, but the story made me stay. Even with Whitney's death at the height of the story, her spirit still plays on throughout the plot, making things different than they may seem. The Arboretum After Midnight is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I look forward to reading many more books by this author.
