Book Showcase: Bittersweet by Aliya Dalrae

Aliya Dalrae's title "Bittersweet" came in at number 17 in the Best Indie Books Title of 2017.

Synopsis: Before Jessica, there was Anna…

Malcolm Gatta was a normal Feline Shifter with a normal Shifter life. However, the arrival of a new Clowder member has set him on a journey of love and loss that will lead him down a path of darkness…a path from which he would rather not return.

Bittersweet is a prequel to the Jessica Sweet Trilogy, covering the four years prior to Malcolm’s arrival at Jessica’s home. Take a peek into the life of everyone’s favorite Shifter. You’ll never look at King Kat the same.

Excerpt: When Malcolm arrived home, he could feel something different in the air. The house was quiet, and there were no lights on at all. He walked through the living room, glanced down the hall toward the bedrooms, then entered the dining room. The table was set with their wedding china—to his knowledge, they’d never used it before—and there were four candles burning in the center of the table, set in an X or a cross. But that wasn’t what had his breath catching in his throat. There was his Anna, sitting in what was normally his chair, not a stitch on except a long strand of pearls Malcolm had given her for her birthday. She was reclining in the chair with her feet on the table, legs crossed in that sexy, movie star way, and a “cat that ate the canary” grin on her face.
