Great Read
This author is one of the authors featured on my author blog for NEW/Debut Author of 2018. I was honored to be able to read Silva's work, Another Cheesy Family Newsletter. The title of this story definitely fits this memoir. It's a take on those newsletters that families send around the holidays, and how they always seem to make it like life is just perfect, while there is hidden or unwritten tales of woe and drama within the family. Silva pens this book as it shows that even with the drama in a family, such as drug addiction, autism, PTSD, bipolar and other things that bring drama, stress and anxiety to a family can come out with one word, love. It's a great read, that I highly recommend anyone to read, as we can probably relate in some way. I look forward to reading more by this new author.
