The series consists of three books that are each full length and their own stories. Carly Edwards is a former NYPD detective turned PI in New York City. Her best friends are Peter and Derek, a couple that lives next door. Carly also has connections to Elliot, Tyler and Leo and that friendship grows.
Each story may be separate, but each one gives Carly a new tragedy to deal with and how she handles it depends on how focused she is on retribution. Passionate Retribution is Carly's perception of sweet revenge.
