For a while, I thought I lost my inspiration. Being ill and focused on family and health issues, I was so afraid it was gone. I have been working overtime reading books and catching up on my review blog, as well as the 8th book in James Patterson's Women's Murder club (Yes, i know he has book 15 coming out). I started reading "Unwritten Life" as whenever I need something, maybe to see my growth as a writer, I read that book (It was my first full length book that I wrote) and in the middle of it, I got inspiration for my latest project. I literally stopped reading and started writing a chapter in my book, I call "Chains".

I did go back to finish reading "Unwritten Life", as I can't leave a book unfinished, even if I don't like the book.

I am still reading three books at a time, not including Patterson's or any of my own, and have made it to over 5 chapters in my new book. I even created the cover, which is something I don't usually do until the book is finished.

Sometimes when someone needs inspiration, it doesn't need to go any further than you're own mind.
