Poet's Note: I have made many poor decisions in life, especially when it involved love. Do I regret these decisions? Admittedly, some days I have but I remind myself that every decision I made was meant to happen and they were lessons that I learned and grew from. I am me, because of every choice I made, every lesson I learned and some of the people I met in my life. Am I proud of the person I’ve become? I am getting there. The scars on the inside will never truly disappear. They will be a reminder of all that I have endured and all that I overcame. We all have a story to tell...
