"Passionate Retribution" was first written in 2005. It was the third book that I ever wrote. I like writing books that have a conclusion but it's always possible to write a follow up sequel. Some of those books, I've never written a sequel, and some, I got the urge and inspiration to give the characters more stories to live out. So, that's what happened with Passionate Retribution's Carly Edwards.
Carly is a strong, independant woman who suffered a great attack, she was assaulted with a hammer claw by someone she knows. Passionate Retribution introduces great characters such as Carly (an ex-NYPD detective), her former partner, Detective Elliot Marshall, former police captain Leo Travers and her two best friends, couple Derek Walters and Peter Barker. It even brings back FBI Special Tyler Mathison into her life as well as her intense and estranged relationship with her father, Fire Chief Jack Edwards.
The story concludes, but life doesn't end for the characters, in the two sequels that follow. (Well, some times, a life does end). Passionate Retribution II and Passionate Retribution III (released this month) brings more into Carly's life.
