Amy's Bookshelf Reviews NEW Review Policy & Procedures

As of April 23, 2017, there will be a new policy and procedure for Amy's

Bookshelf Reviews. The waiting list of 2018 is considered to be full. I will not have a new waiting list after that. (Anyone on current waiting lists such as 2017 or 2018 is still on the list, I just won't accept anymore authors for that list). NEW authors' work will only be accepted if they have an upcoming release date. This is NOT a review freeze, but a change in policy.

Reviews: 1. Book related items (I.E specialized products that relate to books, such as bookmarks). I will test the product and write a review.

2. "Quick Response Reviews" For UPCOMING release dates (at least 30 days in advance). This is the ONLY type of review that I will allow NEW authors to submit a request. (Release dates under 30 days from request, won't be posted on release day but will be added to the PRIMARY LIST, and can't have a specific date guarantee).

3. VIP request: Repeat authors/author representatives can send me new requests/books to review, and the book will be put on the VIP author list.

4. Primary List: This is for current reviews, as the lists shortens, books from the waiting lists get moved to this list. This is the list I focus on, and I alternate posting VIP reviews and Release Date reviews.

In some cases, I may make an exception for a review for NEW authors, so, it never hurts to ask.

As always, I do not direct requests via email for BOOK review requests from authors who I have not reviewed for before. I always point new requests to the form on the Request page.
