ABSR: Genres of the Months

Amy's Bookshelf Reviews already sent out a notice that June is Children/YA genre month (and will even accept young authors to submit their work for review).

Amy's Bookshelf Reviews, has created a new bookshelf, called Genre of the Month, where books on the other bookshelves of the specific genre, will be moved to that bookshelf for, hopefully, a quicker turnaround time for that genre.

This is done for different months starting in June, in order for those authors and their books to gain readership and even reviews. Anyone who writes a review of 3 stars or better of one of the books on the list, will have the opportunity for me to post it on my blog as well.

So, here is the list of months, their genres and the hashtags that will be used. Every month will use #ABSRGenreMonth

June: Children's #JuneKidsYA

July: Self-Help #JulySHelp

August: Mental Health #AugMentalH

September: Erotica #SeptErotica

October: Educational Books #OctEducational

November: Memoirs/Biographies #NovMemoirs

December: True Crime #DecTrueCrime

You can sign up ahead of time, and your title will go on a list, and then once that month starts, it will be added to that month's bookshelf.

For these books on this particular shelf, there will be an option for the author, for a donation of ONLY $2, to have a book spotlight on my blog, The Official Blog of Amy Shannon. (The donation button is down near the Genre of the month shelf. If you make a donation, follow up with an email to confirm it, and information about your book, such as synopsis, excerpt, and any comments you wish to add about your book.) If your book isn't on one of the shelves, you can donate $5 to have your title added to this shelf. You can get your requests in early (just email me instead of going through the form, so email amysbookshelfreviews@gmail.com and write the month in the in the subject line). I will respond asking for information.

This post will run on three of my professional blogs, Olympus Blog (Genesis Literary Promotions), Amy's Bookshelf Reviews, and The Official Blog of Amy Shannon. (And Shared on social media).
