For those of you who may not have heard, Amazon's KDP is no longer publishing the eBooks as a "mobi" format. The format is a new format, and sending mobi files through the "send to kindle" process, it won't be allowed to be done. I guess this information does NOT affect send to kindle process, but it only refers to mobi files being uploaded in order to publish via KDP.
However, this doesn't change me accepting PDF, or downloadable files (in pdf) or audio format. If you only have a mobi file (pre-new amazon format), I use a tool Calibre that let's me convert it, and I will.
That isn't the reason why I am only accepting pdf files or downloadable files that can be downloaded in pdf format.
I am doing this so my laptop can read me the books when my eyes get tired. It doesn't affect reviews, just the format. Any time there is a change in any of the sites I post reviews on, in policy or format, I will relay to all of you.
