Just completing some final information regarding the featured video reviews, where authors can purchase a video review for each of their book reviews. (It's an option, not a requirement). After creating some Video Reviews from current orders, I finally figured the best process and information in order to make it work seamlessly, for me and for anyone who wants one.
If you haven't heard yet, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews has a YouTube Channel . Currently, there are two promotional videos on the channel, a promotional video, and an updated Powerpoint presentation video.
If the review has already been posted (no matter the year), the video will be made and uploaded to YouTube within 7 days of receiving the invoice payment.
If the review has yet to be posted, the video review will be uploaded on the day that the review is posted.
Also, for every 3 book reviews, you can get a fourth video for FREE. (Even if the fourth book is a future book).
What it is: The Featured YouTube Promo and Review will consist of the author's pen name, book title, the book review read by me on video, and also me reciting the book blurb or synopsis on the video. The finale of the video, will have a graphic of the book cover, and the author's preferred Book buy link. The Video will be uploaded to the new Amy's Bookshelf Reviews YouTube Channel, and it will be shared to Amy's Bookshelf Reviews Facebook page and the Twitter account (amyshan_author #ABSR #VRYT).
Example of a Video Review:
For an extra $5.00, the video will be shared from YouTube to LinkedIn.
For an extra $20, the video will be in an Amy's Bookshelf Reviews blog post, and also be added to the "Featured Video Review" page on Amy's Bookshelf Reviews blog. (https://writeramyshannon.wixsite.com/bookshelfreviews/video-reviews)
Under the "requests and Policies" page on my blog, REVIEW TYPE: FEATURED REVIEW AND BOOK PROMO VIDEO (it's at the top of the page), it will give details of the process on how to do it.
This is not considered a donation, but an "add-on" feature. If you select this option, it will be posted when your title's review is posted. If you select this add-on, you will receive an invoice from Amy's Bookshelf Reviews for the amount of $35, and the "extras" if you ordered them.
The feature option has been added to the Quick Response and New Requests Form. For Legacy authors, or authors who request an Express Release Review, make a note in the direct email that you wish to have this feature.
