If the author has multiple books in a series, and the request is for one of the books that is not the first book, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews NOW REQUIRES that all books that came before it (whether it can be read as stand alone or not) be given so the books can be read in order.
For Quick Response Releases:
If the author has multiple books in a series, and the request is for one of the books that is not the first book, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews NOW REQUIRES that all books that came before it (whether it can be read as standalone or not) be given so the books can be read in order. If there is more than two books before the request for this book to be read, a $20 donation is required in order to read all the books (up to 5) before this one. If there is more than 5 books in the series before this book, the donation may be of a higher amount in order to read the books before the release date.
For Express Releases:
If the author has multiple books in a series, and the request is for one of the books that is not the first book, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews NOW REQUIRES that all books that came before it (whether it can be read as standalone or not) be given so the books can be read in order. If there is more than two books before the request for this book to be read, the donation amount for the amount of days is doubled. If there are more than 5 books that need to be read before this title, the donation is tripled.
PUBLISHER INFORMATION
Also, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews is not only keeping track and adding author representatives to the list of Legacy Friends, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews is also adding publisher's information. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews wants this information so that the proper representatives and publishers can be tagged when the review has been posted. Also, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews will contact that publisher (if the author made the request) to introduce Amy's Bookshelf Reviews and its reviews, as well as ask that they send their other authors to Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
Amy's Bookshelf Reviews wants to help as many authors as possible. Not everyone understands how important reviews are, but they can be the baseline for promotions.
