Any book title that gets accepted on Amy's Bookshelf Reviews gets a position on one of Amy's Library Bookshelf.
Recently, the library was "revamped," and not just now called a library.
Just a note, where is gives a turnaround time for posting days, it is from the date that Amy's Bookshelf Reviews receives all the required information, especially the book. Also, even if I am going to buy the book, I do need a digital copy of the book.
The VIP "LEGACY" BOOKSHELF has changed slightly as there is only one shelf now. The “Legacy” bookshelf is for “Legacy Authors” (or authors that are sent by a repeat representative, representing a “Legacy Author.” (Once an author has requested their second title to be reviewed, they automatically become a Legacy Author). Legacy authors were formerly referred to as repeat authors).
The STANDARD “NEW AUTHOR” BOOKSHELF is what used to be the Primary or Traditional bookshelf. This bookshelf is for authors that have put in their first request, or from representatives that have requested an author’s title for the first time (for that particular author) (A $10 donation can put a book title at the second position of the bookshelf)
REPOSTING BOOK REVIEWS BOOKSHELF
I do repost reviews or update reviews or add previously posted reviews to new sites where the book title is listed. This includes reposting or rewriting reviews for audiobooks or new "boxed" sets.
QUICK RESPONSE/RELEASE DATE CALENDAR:
Reviews that have a scheduled release date, and Express Release Reviews. Reviews for The After Show with McKensie Stewart & Amy Shannon, and Blog Tour Review Dates. (Moved to Quick Response Calendar page)
A note about Ethical Reviews:
Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews only reviews books of any genre from any author, as long as the policies and rules are followed. (However, I do NOT read anything that supports racism, or bias against any race, gender, sexual orientation, or hate of any person or group).
I do NOT allow the author to influence my rating. (If an author requests” a 5-star review, I will not read the book or write a review. If I notice that an author has written a review on their own book, I will not post a review for that author. Author's reviews of their own work is not ethical.
I ONLY give reviews 3, 4, or 5 Stars. If I deem the title to be lower, I will send the book back to the author, AND they can resend it if they make changes or necessary edits.
I do not think that paying for someone to review your work is unethical. I do NOT charge for reviews except to put the review on a Featured Video Review. Also, a review that is paid for, when you are paying for a specific rating, then that is unethical. I don't charge for reviews, donations are for position or paying it forward, not for the review.
