Amy Shannon declares June, Children and YA genre BOOK Month

Yes, there is a week in February that celebrates children's books, but this year, Amy Shannon (namely me) has declared June Children and YA genre BOOK Month. (So, June is unofficially Children and YA genre BOOK Month, #JuneKidsYA )

So, what does that mean?

First, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews, has created a new bookshelf, called Genre of the Month, where books on the other bookshelves of the specific genre, will be moved to that bookshelf for, hopefully, a quicker turnaround time for that genre.

This is done for different months starting in June, in order for those authors and their books to gain readership and even reviews. Anyone who writes a review of 3 stars or better of one of the books on the list, will have the opportunity for me to post it on my blog as well.

So, if you might have guessed, June for Amy's Bookshelf Reviews is Children's Books (0-11, 12-18, so children's books, tweens, and young adults (fiction or nonfiction).

For these books on this particular shelf, there will be an option for the author, for a donation of ONLY $2, to have a book spotlight on my blog, The Official Blog of Amy Shannon. (The donation button is down near the Genre of the month shelf. If you make a donation, follow up with an email to confirm it, and information about your book, such as synopsis, excerpt, and any comments you wish to add about your book.) If your book isn't on one of the shelves, you can donate $5 to have your title added to this shelf. You can get your requests in early (just email me instead of going through the form, so email amysbookshelfreviews@gmail.com and write "June" in the subject line). I will respond asking for information.

And last but not least, there are new promotions for children's book authors, (0-11, 12-18, so children's books, tweens and young adults (fiction or nonfiction) AND also any child who is an author (under the age of 18), on Genesis Literary Promotions. There are promotions for YA-Storytellers (child authors), "Sprouts" for books ages (0-11), and "Almost Grownup" (13-18). The promotions include social media Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and a blog post. You can purchase 1, 2 or 5 days. Each promotional post is one post per item per day. More details and prices on the Genesis Literary Promotions website. https://genesisbookpromos.wixsite.com/genesisbookpromos/promotions-and-blog-packages

This post will run on three of my professional blogs, Olympus Blog (Genesis Literary Promotions), Amy's Bookshelf Reviews, and The Official Blog of Amy Shannon. (And Shared on social media).
