My "to be read and reviewed" Bookshelves have changed, and it changes because I see where there is a need to help authors get their reviews out, some need it (or really, really want it) to be done right away, so I try to adjust to these requests. I do require "donations," which, again do not buy a review, just a position on the shelf. Due to it taking me longer to do reviews, reading the book, writing the review, and then finally posting the review, as well as updating my author's database, I have to require donations for "requested" positions.
I added the VIP-IMMEDIATE shelf, which for a $100 (US) donation, an author can get the book read by me, the unbiased review written, and the review posted, within 3 days. The three day window is also available through Express Reviews, if the book is to be released within that 3 days. This is not the same type of request, so the option is for already published books's reviews to be posted within that time frame.
The requests page has also been updated, and this type of request is available for both new and repeat authors. And, if you didn't know, all the information on the requests page can be downloaded via the PDF at the top of the page for future reference, and is always updated when the page is updated.
As always, donations are not required, and I will get to each and every title on all shelves. I am doing my best to keep my blog up and running.
