Synopsis:

Dr. Raina Markum and Dr. Martin Welch return to Sars Springs to find that the town is underwater. Not only has a chain reaction caused a flood of the town, several family members have lost their lives or just became homeless. As Raina joins forces with Colonel Mac Helms and the Army, she desperately tries to find those who are deemed as missing, including her son, Logan. In the wake of the flood, the town isn't the only thing that starts to be rebuilt. Limbs, organs and the dead ... well, seven of them, are starting to be rebuilt.

What affect will the rebuilds have on the lives of Sars Springs?

What happens when the chosen seven dead are slowly awakened?

Raina hits an emotional roller coaster when she realizes that a part of her is also being rebuilt.

Will the Markums be strong enough to handle the obstacles that hit them one after another?

Will Sars Springs truly be an awakened town or it will continue to drown itself?

So, what's this really about?

The flood of Sars Springs brings a lot of devastation to the town, but it also awakens some of the dead, and in some cases, revives things that were missing. Raina desparately tries to save her family and gains some unexpected news about her own body.

Note about the story:

This is a turning point in the series, as it brings many people who died back to town and not as spirits.

What happens next? Book 13 of Series 3 is "Unwritten Fate: Vengeance."
