I have just recently released "Unwritten Life" in large print. I used CreateSpace (as I do with most of my print books) and downloaded the special font provided by American Printing House for the Blind (www.aph.org) which they do for free if you're going to print large print.
About Large Print: I am not sure about Large Print sales, but I was looking for something that could help those who like a larger printed book or need a large print book. I am an author but also an avid reader, (some say I read too much but to me, there's no such thing). However, when I read on my eReader, I set the font to be larger than normal. And when I read a regular font sized print book, I use a page magnifier. Not every book has the option for large print when purchasing it, but it is easier on the eyes. It does make the book thicker, because large print also means more pages, and that can up the purchase price. But, if your eyes need it, it's worth it.
Identifying Large Print Books Large Print books will have an identifying icon or graphic on the book or just state it's Large Print. I created the graphic for my Large Print books, and each one will have it on the cover. The large print books will also be listed under large print on Amazon.
About Unwritten Life: Unwritten Life was the first full length novel I've ever written, and it was originally written in 2004, and published in May of 2005. However, it has gone over some changes throughout the years, as I am a much better writer, and the editing process runs a lot smoother now.
Unwritten Life was recently rebranded and carries the rebranding icon for the MOD Life Epic Saga. Currently, only the first nine books in the Epic Saga have been rereleased. I am hoping to publish the print version of those books in LARGE PRINT as well.
Synopsis of Unwritten Life:
Four years ago tragic events changed Alex Garrison’s life forever. She has been running away from it and trying to put the past behind her. She changes her name, moves to a new town, and even starts a new career. Just when she feels that she can move on with her life, her past comes back to haunt her. Her best friend, Greg, appears out of the blue and constantly reminds her of what she did four years ago. During her personal venture for freedom, she gives in to her attraction to a married man. When a violent stalker sets his sights on her, she finds love in an unlikely place. But who wants her love so much, that he is willing to kill her for it?
